Gil has over 20 years of experience in the field, with more than 15 of those being with ENE. Gil manages the day-to-day portfolio needs of our wholesale customers to include power and capacity trading, as well as ISO-NE energy, capacity and forward reserve market optimization for customer generation assets.
Prior to ENE, Gil held positions with PG&E Trading, where he functioned in various asset management and optimization roles. He was responsible for bidding, scheduling, and optimizing PG&ET’s fleet of generators throughout New England, including coal, gas, oil, hydro and pumped storage generation. Prior to PG&ET, Gil managed assets and traded short-term power for Orion Power Holdings in Maryland after starting his career at General Dynamics Electric Boat in various engineering and analyst roles. Gil received his Bachelor of Science at Massachusetts Maritime Academy and his Executive Master of Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island.
