Greg Olsen Named as Director of Energy Operations
Mansfield MA, September 26, 2025 – Energy New England (ENE) is pleased to announce the addition of Greg Olsen as its new Director of Energy Operations, effective September 1, 2025. With more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the ENE team.
In his role, Greg will oversee commercial operations, risk management, and strategy development across ENE’s diverse portfolio. His expertise spans energy trading, asset management, retail and wholesale load portfolios, and the commercial operations of generation assets including combined-cycle plants, hydro, wind, solar, and battery storage.

While Greg’s work will focus primarily on the New England market, his experience extends across multiple regions including NYISO, PJM, Ontario, ERCOT, and SPP. His expertise encompasses power, natural gas, basis, RECs, capacity, and structured products.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Gettysburg College and has collaborated extensively with both colleagues and customers throughout his career. He looks forward to applying his industry knowledge to further enhance ENE’s operations and support the organization’s mission of delivering reliable energy solutions to its customers.
