ENERGY STAR® APPLIANCE REBATE INCENTIVE
MMED is pleased to offer rebates to customers purchasing selected energy efficient ENERGY STAR central air conditioners, refrigerators, clothes washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers, dehumidifiers, and window air conditioners. ENERGY STAR appliances have been defined by the Department of Energy (DOE) as being significantly more energy efficient than the average comparable model. The advantages of purchasing ENERGY STAR appliances include:
- Potential savings between 15% and 50% in energy costs
- Reduction of global energy consumption and need for additional generation
- Decrease in pollution from fossil fuels used to generate electricity
This offer is available for a limited time only. ENERGY STAR appliances must be purchased between the dates of January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2020 in order to qualify for a rebate. Please review the complete rebate eligibility requirements contained within the Application Brochure.
HOME ENERGY ASSESSMENT
MMED customers can call Energy New England (ENE) at 888-772-4242 to make an appointment for a free Home Energy Assessment. During the assessment, a professional energy advisor will visit your home and perform a complete analysis of its energy use. You’ll receive a written report that includes recommended measures, estimated payback periods, and other information to help you choose the best ways to make your home more energy efficient
HELPS CONNECTED HOMES
The Home Energy Loss Prevention Services (HELPS) Connected Homes Program makes it easy to manage WiFi-connected devices like electric vehicle charger, mini-split controllers, electric hot water heaters, and home batteries. MASSACHUSETTS MUNICIPAL LIGHT PLANT SOLAR REBATE PROGRAM
The program includes a solar rebate of up to $1.20/watt, capped at 50% of total installed costs. Eligible solar installations must be 20 kW or less, with less than 20% shading, and facing between 90 and 270 degrees. Other restrictions may apply. Click here for more details.
